Don’t talk to me
about the day you’ve had
I’ve had a day to turn an angel bad.
Don’t talk to me
about having it tough
I’ve had enough to make glass feel rough.
Don’t talk to me
about seeing red
I’ve seen things to raise the dead.
Don’t talk to me
about feeling down
I’ve felt things to make a clown frown.
Don’t talk to me
about a belly full
I’m about ready to make a Pushme Pull.
Whether you’re up to your eyes or just want to be
Whatever you do,
DON’T TALK TO ME.
