An exciting new adventure has been announced! It’s called Lunar Mission One and for adults and for children, this is very great news. Lunar Mission One aims to send a lander to the Moon to drill down into the rock at the South Pole. This will tell us LOTS of things about how the moon was formed, as well as lots about the Earth.

It’s even more exciting because ordinary people can pay some money to send things up there. Photographs or books (like Astro Poetica, maybe) or music or even hair can be sent. Yes, HAIR! A strand of your hair could be sent to the Moon!

Because all of this sounds very cool, I thought I’d write a short poem.

Very soon
Our moon
Will look different up there,
As it sports a moustache
A beard
And some hair.
